Wed 6 – The TCU women’s basketball team has gotten off to a nice start in the Big 12 this season, and a win against Oklahoma tonight would help the Lady Frogs crack the national rankings. Fri 8 – Halfway through the NAHL season, the Lone Star Brahmas are in a dogfight with Wichita Falls for first place in the league’s South Division. To keep pace with the Wildcats, the home team will have to do well in this weekend’s games against the struggling Odessa Jackalopes. Mon 11 – Artisan Center Theater kicks off 2016 in typical Artisan style, with the nostalgic, unthreatening, long-in-the-tooth Forever Plaid. Stuart Ross’ musical revue about a fictitious 1960s close-harmony singing group is probably your best entertainment option for this Monday evening. Tue 12 – Michael Bay is trying to prove that he can make movies without giant robots, so he directed 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. Telling the story of the 2012 attack on the U.S. Consulate from the point of view of the soldiers on the ground, the movie is holding its world premiere here at 5:30pm at AT&T Stadium, 1 Legends Way, Arlington.
