A few hours ago, the word dropped from Artspace 111 that Devon Nowlin’s stolen dog sculpture FRANK returned to the gallery this morning via the U.S. Mail, wrapped carefully and unharmed. The return happens just in time for the opening of the artist’s new exhibit at the venue, which is an odd piece of timing, to say the least. Nevertheless, since the returner did their deed anonymously and declined the reward offered by Nowlin, we offer our thanks to them.
