As part of the new Vernon Fisher retrospective at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, K-Mart Conceptualism, writers are encouraged to submit stories inspired by Fisher’s literary paintings and assemblages to the museum for possible publication on the exhibit’s website (beginning on Tue., Oct. 19) and in a small publication to be printed after the exhibition closes on Jan. 2, 2011. Submitting a story is free and may be accomplished here. Potential contributors would do well to at least stroll through the exhibit beforehand.
