Do you agree that the needle-wielding artists at Royal 1 Tattoos are the best around, or would you rather be inked somewhere else?

Did your favorite bartender get ignored again in our thick and glossy Best Of 2010 issue that just hit the street?

Does Babe’s really make the best chicken or does (insert your favorite restaurant here) kick their ass?

Is the Star-Telegram‘s Eva-Marie Ayala really the best print journalist, or can police reporter Deanna Boyd write circles around her (as Deanna has stated so often)?

Maybe you’re thinking, “Darn it, my favorite liquor store never gets selected. That Weekly always picks Two Bucks Beverage or Goody Goody’s or blah blah blah. I’ve had it! I’m buying a bottle of vodka and drinking myself into a stupor like Nicholas Cage did in that movie.”

Wait loyal Blotch reader!

There’s no need to die of acute alcohol poisoning in a passive-aggressive ritualistic suicidal manner in a superficial desert resort town while Elisabeth Shue is practically begging you to bang her.

Instead, just comment at the end of this post. Problem solved.

Let us know who we overlooked, what we missed, where we erred, and why we’re such morons.

We’ll keep your suggestions on our list for next year’s potential Best Of winners.

  1. Correction: Deanna Boyd was misquoted. She actually stated she could write circles around “everybody” not “Eva.” Fort Worth Weekly regrets the error.

  2. Roy: Maybe you could help us in other categories, such as Best Window To Peer Out While Silently Wishing the World Would End.

Or maybe Best TV Dinner To Eat While Standing Alone At The Kitchen Counter And Lamenting Life.

  3. IMO, the Weekly should be careful not to add too many categories/awards or risk diluting the significance of Best Of. I know I’m damn proud of mine.

  4. Add James Russell, an intern for Lon Burnam, to that list. He another unsung young guy who does a lot for FW.

Also… in the Restaurant Dept., it appears that Potager in downtown Arlington was forgotten in the Best of. They are such a unique little place they must be Best at something. Food is delicious and healthy, they emphasize locally grown ingredients, atmosphere is relaxed and hip, cost is fair and payment is on the honor system. The owner, Cynthia Chippendale, is doing things like no other local restaurant. Potager is a winner.
