Two CD release parties this weekend will raise money for good causes.

Scott Copeland is releasing 13 Songs I Wrote at 9 p.m. tonight (June 27)  at Magnolia Motor Lounge, 3005 Morton St.  Terry Rasor opens.

Proceeds from CD sales will probably be spent on booze, most of which will find its way into Copeland’s belly and, more importantly, his brain. This typically leads to creative chaos that results in another great Copeland song and story.

Bear Quisenberry and his band RIDER debut their new CD Telluride Rocks Saturday night (June 28) at Magnolia Motor Lounge.

Profits from their CD sales will benefit Telluride Academy.

RIDER combine classic rock and alt-country with jam improvisation.
