Local flavor stands to rule The Toadies’ 7th Annual Dia De Los Toadies.
Dallas’ Old 97’s, Somebody’s Darling, and a reunited Pleasant Grove will join Fort Worth’s Quaker City Night Hawks and the festival’s namesake band as part of the 10-band, two-day (Friday-Saturday, Sept. 12-13) event at Panther Island Pavilion (395 Purcey St., downtown, 817-698-0700).

For The Toadies, the festival will mark their final stop of a long tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their groundbreaking Rubberneck in which the quartet plays the album in its entirety.
On April 1, The Toadies released a re-mastered edition of Rubberneck that included bonus tracks.
As in previous years, the festival’s first night will feature The Toadies stripped-down. The second night will be all-out, with two stages, a beach bar, tubing, and a VIP area with a full bar overlooking the festival and with a view of the Fort Worth skyline.
