Thursday 27 – Where will you be in 2032? You may not know; we certainly don’t. You’re welcome to weigh in when the proceedings start at 6:30pm at Fort Worth Central Public Library, 500 W 3rd St, FW. Admission is free. Call 817-871-7701.
Friday 28 – One of the rising stars of theater is Kieran Lynn, the 31-year-old Liverpool native who saw his Crossing the Line staged at Amphibian Stage Productions. The play runs Thu thru May 20 at 230 W 4th St, FW. Tickets are $15-38. Call 817-877-3040.
Monday 01 – Tonight at the Spectrum Chamber Music Series of Fort Worth, you can hear the music of J. Bach. His humorous, deceptively difficult Four 2-Bit Contraptions for a horn trio features here, along with string quartets by Shostakovich and Mozart. The performance is at 7pm at First United Methodist Church, 800 W 5th St, FW. Admission is free. Call 817-377-0688.
Tuesday 02 – Well, if VeggieTales could make a movie out of the story of Jonah, why not a theater troupe in Lancaster, Pa.? Sight & Sound Theatres has put on a musical-comedy version of the story in Jonah: On Stage!, and now you can see it by going to your local movie theater instead of all the way to Amish country. The show is broadcast at 7pm at various movie theaters; check Calendar for showtimes. Tickets are $12.50. Call 818-761-6100.
