West 7th development isn’t about to play second fiddle to Sundance Square, the Stockyards, or anybody else.
The section of Seventh Street between downtown and the cultural district is a newly renovated party spot in town, and a free concert featuring fiddling Doug Moreland, newby Luke Wade, and TCU favorite Manderly Street Band will be held at 6 pm Wednesday (June 9) at the grassy lawn near Crockett and Norwood streets.
Bring your own chairs and blankets. Terra Mediterranean Grill will sell food, beer, wine, and other beverages.
I’ll be there. Should be a nice change than going downtown on a Wednesday night. Are they going to do this more often??
The West 7th website refers to the June 9 show as part of a “summer concert series,” which indicates more to come — although no details of upcoming concerts are currently listed on their site.
