Fort Worth’s own Randy Brown will vie for Entertainer of the Year at the 8th annual Texas Music Awards.
The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 15 at the Marshall Convention Center in Marshall.
Host and legendary singer (and Arlington resident) B.J. Thomas will perform immediately following the presentations.
Brown has his work cut out for him — he’s competing against a couple of legends in Texas Music, Michael Martin Murphey and Shake Russell. Also in the running for Entertainer of the Year are Pauline Reese and Thomas Michael Riley.
Brown is the only Tarrant County-based artist listed among the nominees in 15 categories.
Way to go Randy.
