Tonight (Wednesday) 6-9pm, your beloved Weekly will celebrate the release of our 13th annual Music Awards Compilation CD at Love Shack So7, 817 Matisse St. in the new So7 development. We’re especially proud of this year’s compilation because it was recorded live at Eagle Audio Recording over the course of two days and features new or previously unreleased tracks by Whiskey Folk Ramblers, Chatterton, Titanmoon, Ginny Mac, and many other great folks. Tonight’s release party at Love Shack So7 will feature “unplugged” live tuneage by Calhoun, Chatterton, Alan: The Universal Answer is Both, Christian L. Williams, and Jason Worley. Proceeds from the $5 CD will go to the Tarrant Area Food Bank. C’mon down, everybody.
