Classic Chevrolet has just signed on as the presenter of Fort Worth Sings For Haiti’s family-friendly concert on Sat., Mar. 27, at Magnolia Green Park on the near-South Side to help raise funds for Doctors Without Borders’ relief efforts in the earthquake-ravaged country. Featuring some of Fort Worth’s strongest bands, including The Burning Hotels, The Orbans, Josh Weathers and the True+Endeavors, Chatterton, and Pablo and the Hemphill 7, among others, the show is free — Doctors Without Borders will receive money via sponsorships and the sale of alcohol/beverages and merchandise. “All of the people that work at Classic Chevy want to help make a difference in our community and throughout the world,” said Classic Chevrolet’s Hagen Durant. “That’s what makes our dealership so special. We don’t just hire ‘sales people.’ We hire people.” Fort Worth Sings is a not-for-profit group formed in response to the Haitian tragedy.
