An acoustic guitar belonging to Red Dirt singer-songwriter Joey Green was recently stolen in the Saginaw area. An identifying characteristic of the Taylor 314 CE (2001) is a drawing of a cartoon girl next to the words “Whatever Lady” on the body. Also stolen was a small red “gig box” containing four effects pedals and two vocal microphones. The Fort Worth musician said, “That guitar meant the world to me.”
Green is offering a cash reward for information leading to the guitar’s safe return.
(For musicians who’ve had gear stolen, please contact me at anthony.mariani@fwweekly.com, and I will publish your info either in print or online –– or both. A photo of you with your missing merchandize also will help establish the validity of your claim among readers.)

We have put together a list of useful online services for lost and stolen guitars – maybe of use to people reading this in the same situation.
