There’s so much tragedy in the daily news, it’s understandable that people get somewhat numb to a lot of it. But then a story appears that really gets under your skin with the force of its sadness, like the 17-year-old Trimble Tech student who killed himself out of apparent grief that he couldn’t prevent the drunk driving deaths of two friends. This kid obviously cared very deeply about other people. Condolences extended to his family and friends.
