Fort Worth pop-rockers Green River Ordinance‘s latest release, Under Fire, has done something that only maybe The Toadies’ last album, Feeler, has ever done: crack iTunes’ top 10 most downloaded albums.

Last week, GRO released Under Fire, the follow up to 2009’s Out of My Hands, the five guys’ fourth recording and now a revenant of their time on a major label — they’d signed to Virgin Records a little over a year before putting out Out of My Hands.

The independently released Under Fire is currently iTunes’ seventh most downloaded album, up from No. 9 last week, right ahead of Pink Floyd’s The Wall (Deluxe Edition) (No. 9), Adele’s 19 (No. 10), a Whitney Houston greatest hits album (No. 13), The Black Keys’ El Camino, and dozens of other recordings by internationally renowned artists.
