Seems like a lot of people I know are still undecided about their New Year’s Eve plans, or if they’re going to make any at all. But if you need a cool last minute destination to ring in 2012, you could do a lot worse than the 9pm Dec 31 “End of the World!!!” Party at The Where House, 2510 Hemphill St, FW.
The theme, of course, is nuclear armageddon (or “arma-get-it-on,” as the hosts call it) and world destruction. There’ll be a final balloon drop, a final champagne toast, a photo booth of doom, the world’s only fallout proof shelter, and live music by The Phuss, Botany, Slumberbuzz, and one of our favorites, Skeleton Coast. Admission is $15 at the door and it’s 21 and up only.
