Choose a location that is meaningful to you — whether that is your own neighborhood, a nearby park, or a favorite walking trail. Volunteers can participate individually or gather with family and friends to pick up litter together. Free litter cleanup supplies and event T-shirts will be available while supplies last. Before the Event
Step 1. Mark your calendar. Neighborhood Litter Stomp is an annual fall event. Participate as an individual or organize a group.
Step 2. Choose your cleanup location. Select a public area that is meaningful to you. Not sure where to start? Join KFWB at Trinity Park, Pavilion #4 (Get Directions).
Step 3. Register to participate. Volunteer as an individual, a family or a group. (Dates, times, and location details for cleanup supplies will be provided by email after registration)
Step 4. Pick up your cleanup supplies.
Step 5. Pick up litter on October 17.
Litter Cleanup Supplies
Keep Fort Worth Beautiful provides litter cleanup supplies to all registered volunteers. Supply pickup will be at the Business Assistance Center (1150 South Fwy, Fort Worth) 9am-5pm Wed-Thu, Oct 14-15, and 9am-3pm Fri, Oct 16. Equipment is also available, upon request, to help any volunteers who are elderly or have mobility concerns/other disabilities.
Scrap Tire Collection
As part of the Neighborhood Litter Stomp, the City of Fort Worth will host a free scrap tire collection event on Sat, Oct 17 at the Hazel Harvey Peace Center for Neighborhoods (818 Missouri Av, Fort Worth) for residents to responsibly dispose of tires, divert waste, and help reduce illegal dumping. Residents can bring unwanted tires from their homes or collect littered tires from roadways and neighborhoods. Cleanup participation is not required to dispose of tires.
