Indie-rocking band The Troumatics will celebrate the release of their debut album to all streaming platforms with a show at The Cicada (1002 S Main St, Fort Worth, @the_cicada_ftw) 8pm Friday with Good Latimer and Lannie Flowers.

Recorded with producer Taylor Tatsch (Maren Morris, Cut Throat Finches, Shadows of Jets), Watch Me Burn has an early-’90s alt-rock vibe with some jam-bandy elements.

“I wanted to get the music out there to see if people like it besides my mom and friends,” said frontman Stephen Troum, an orthopedic hand surgery specialist by day. “I don’t have a set goal other than to ride this ride and see where it goes.”

Nine tracks, Troum said, “have made it on radio,” including one overseas station, “and you can’t help but feel good about that.”

CDs and physical copies of Watch Me Burn will be available for purchase at the merch table. Tickets are $10 at the door.
