Shasta Haubrich lives and breathes art in a city that savors its scene. As a child, she could draw and paint well naturally, and her parents encouraged her artistic dreams. Shasta is still dreaming big — for herself and every other artist in town. She is communications director at Art Tooth, a nonprofit that spotlights local creators and connects them with other artists, galleries, and patrons. One of her duties is planning Spring Gallery Night’s pArty Bus. On March 28, the bus will load up with people and tour local galleries. (Visit arttooth.com for tickets.) It’s a great way to see a wide variety of work by local painters and sculptors while hanging out with other art lovers. Shasta’s own artwork is unique and hard to explain. She analyzes pop culture in a visual, artistic manner using pie graphs and designs. Can’t envision it? Go see one of her shows!
