I originally set out to do a review of Wednesday night’s Astronautalis show at Lola’s Saloon, but that would be a little like Garfield critiquing lasagne or Kanye West trying to be objective about Kanye. In other words, I really like Astronautalis.
So instead of pretending like I went to his show as a journalist, I’ll just post the dizzying freestyle the SMU alumnus uncorked on the smallish crowd of about 40 or so excitable fans. The guy standing in front of me, Eusebio Martinez, recorded the flowage on his phone. He sent me this video for the price of a Lone Star Beer. The quality isn’t exactly professional, but it’s the best I could get for $2.75. Enjoy!
