It feels a lot longer than three years. Martin House Brewing has become a staple in grocery and specialty store and thousands of fridges in the region in that short time. What would life be like without The Imperial Texan, Salty Lady, or Bockslider? I shudder at the idea, but thanks to Martin House’s founders, staff, and volunteers, we don’t have to imagine a world without their suds. Happy three year anniversary Martin House. The Fort Worth Weekly reached out to some of your biggest fans for this online birthday card.

“Happy 3rd to Martin House! Keep doing Fort Worth proud!”

“From humble beginnings in the backyard of Cody Martin’s house on the Westside to the brewery on the river with one of the best views of downtown that Fort Worth has to offer, Martin House has quickly become a staple of not only the the North Texas beer scene, but also well known statewide. Their style-busting beers continued to impress me with each release, and their crew rolls deep, further embedding them into the beer community. Not just great brewers of beer, but good friends too. Cheers to three years of MHBC, and here’s to many more!”

Tony Drewry, Beerpedaler and telephone operator at The Collective Brewing Project

“I first tried Martin House beer when it was just a few taps in the garage near Miami, and I’m thrilled to know that more and more people can now enjoy it! Congratulations on this milestone, and I’ll raise a glass to many more!”

Jason Calloway, cellist for Amernet String Quartet

Sarah Covington, public relations director for Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau

“It seems like a decade ago that Cody, David, and Adam were building out that weird little building space just east of downtown. Now, they’re so ingrained that it’s impossible to discuss Fort Worth beer without mentioning them. I couldn’t be prouder of the brewers and businessmen they’ve grown to be, and I’m constantly excited to see what they come up with next. Cheers, fellas.”

Scooter Hendon, writer and beer reporter for the Fort Worth Star Telegram

“Martin House continues to push the envelope with beers like Counter Clockwise Swirl, Pretzel Stout, The Salty Lady, and the hop showcasing Cellarman’s IPA series with an obvious eye for quality and adventure. I look forward to seeing what Cody & crew come up with in the future as Martin House’s place in the growing Fort Worth beer community further solidifies.”
