Calling it a stroke of luck would be crass, but it was, well, momentous that a film crew was in New York making a documentary about a firefighter on 9-11. They were filming on the streets when they heard a low-flying plane, looked up with cameras rolling, and got video of the first plane hitting the World Trade Center.
The filmmakers ended up with a documentary that chronicles that tragic day.
A free screening of Ground Zero 360 will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 23, at the Dallas Holocaust Museum Center, 211 N. Record St.
Seating is limited.
