I’m just now seeing this story about the Lake Worth Monster that The Dallas Morning News published last week.
In 1969, someone reported seeing a half-man, half-goat creature near Lake Worth.
The public later dubbed the creature the Lake Worth Monster.
This month marks the…uh…45th anniversary of that sighting.
And so a Dallas newspaper decides to write about it, which leaves one big question dangling in the ether: Why?
What next, a story about the 37th anniversary of when somebody first made up a rumor about a midget village near River Crest Country Club?
That was a little people village, not a midget village.
