You’ll feel like a kid in a toy store at Artspace 111’s new show opening this week. That’s because John Hartley’s paintings take toy soldiers, action figures, and weaponry as their chief subject, though there are a few depictions of plaster Jesus statues as well. The opening reception is 5pm Fri.
