There is no reality television program on this evening that’s more simultaneously entertaining, fascinating, painful, and off-putting than this just-now-blowing-up recording of Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst throwing his weight around on the phone with an Allen police sergeant.
It’s more than 10 minutes long but worth the time to listen, although you might skip ahead early in the conversation when Dewhurst is put on hold for a few minutes while the operator tracks down a sergeant.
