Music Scene Live, the radio show that introduces listeners to local singer songwriters, has been picked up by KLSR-1650 AM.
The station will air Music Scene Live from 5 to 6 p.m. on Saturdays beginning this weekend.
The show is produced and hosted by Allison & Stone, who offer an interesting format that combines music and talk.
Allison is none other than Allison Balson, the actress who portrayed that meany-pants Nancy Oleson on TV’s Little House On The Prairie. She’s a singer-songwriter as well, both as a solo act and as a duo partner with Stone.
They feature two acts each week and record them live at the Thirsty Armadillo. The artists sings five original songs, and then Balson interviews them about the craft of songwriting.
Artists who have appeared on the show include Kevin Aldridge, Austin Cunningham, Keegan McInroe, Earl Musick, and many others.
