Some artists are strictly instinctual. They don’t like to overthink the process, preferring to let the work speak for itself. Others are more self-aware and can hold forth on the joys and frustrations of creativity in a very entertaining and enlightening way. This Sunday Sept 30 at 2pm, Arts Fifth Avenue hosts a discussion/performance event entitled “Salon 2: On Choice and Choosing.” North Texas musicians, actors, dancers, singers, and storytellers gather together on the A5A stage to display their talents and explore the meaning of choice as individuals and community members. They’ll talk about the road taken, the road not taken, and the influence of both on our daily lives. The event is pay-what-you-can; suggested donations are $5-$10.
