If you’re a parent of four-year-old twins or know anyone answering to that description, here’s some intriguing news. Vicky Boone Casting is currently searching Fort Worth and surrounding cities for Caucasian twin girls to play a “co-leading” role in a film starring The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo‘s Rooney Mara.
No word on what the film is about, and the Oscar-nominated actress has a number of projects in the works, including a Steven Soderbergh addiction drama called Bitter Pill and a yet-to-be-titled Spike Jonze film about a guy who falls in love with a computer’s voice. However, the untitled movie that Mara’s doing with Terrence Malick seems to be the most likely candidate, since Vicky Boone previously cast Malick’s The Tree of Life. Then again, Vicky Boone also lists Jonze as a client on her web page, so who’s to say?
If you’re interested, you should e-mail the twins’ names, recent photos, parents’ contact number, and the city where you live to atbscasting@gmail.com. The deadline for submissions is Friday. Maybe we’ll see your girls on the big screen.
The movie is called “Ain’t Them Bodies Saints.” http://www.theadvertiser.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2012120612018&nclick_check=1
Ah, that would be David Patrick Lowery’s film, which also stars Casey Affleck and Ben Foster. We’ve written extensively about David Lowery in the past. Looks like he’s attracting bigger names to his films. Good for him. Thanks for the info, Dan.
