So-called experts are predicting the World Series already, and they don’t have much faith in our hometown Texas Rangers.
FOX Sports sportswriter John Paul Marosi says the Rangers will fall in the first playoff series, which begins at 4 p.m. today against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Bleacher Report predicts the Philadelphia Phillies will take the big prize.
All Sports Talk says the Rays will beat the Rangers in five.
And so on…and so on… .
But wait! Here’s a prediction: Blotch predicts the Rangers will not only beat the Rays but win the World Series against the Philadelphia Phillies, causing Phillies ace (and Rangers traitor) Cliff Lee to fall down on the pitcher’s mound, assume the fetal position, and cry like a baby while the ghost of Tom Vandergriff dances around him.
