The Fisker Karma offers responsible luxury.

From 10:20 a.m. to 5:40 p.m. on Mon., Aug. 15, at Lanny’s Alta Cocina Mexicana (3405 W. 7th St.), Frank Kent Motor Company will offer test drives of the Fisker Karma, “the world’s first true electric vehicle with extended range and responsible luxury,” according to Frank Kent. Each test drive will be 20 minutes long and with a product specialist. Frank Kent will be the first dealership in North Texas to offer test drives of the Karma, a high-performance vehicle whose interior is completely eco-friendly, comprising certified reclaimed wood, closed-loop manufactured leather, soy-based bio fiber, a solar roof, and other post-consumer materials. The Karma also combines a generator and an engine to “maximize utility and green technology,” according to the dealership. The car was created by Henrik Fisker, CEO of Fisker Automotive and design director for Aston Martin, BMW Z8 Roadster, and “other James Bond-preferred cars.” Hors d’oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.
