Nancy Reagan’s old adage “Just Say No” won’t work this weekend — at least not if you’ve been drinking and driving and police want to test your intoxication.
Just say yes.
Tarrant County police agencies and the district attorney’s office are joining other counties in the first statewide “No Refusal Weekend.” They’ll use warrants to test your breath or your blood whether you cooperate or not.
If you celebrate the July 4 weekend a little too patriotically, you might want to declare your independence from the driver’s seat.
