My lateral incisors are dripping tiger blood at the thought of the two most annoying men in the world — actor Charlie Sheen and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban — hooking up for a HDNet TV show or business deal of some sort.

Sheen is all about “winning” these days.

Cuban is all about using the word “interesting” as many times as he can when discussing Sheen:  “You’ve got somebody that everybody has a whole lot of interest in who’s doing some interesting things, to say the least, and we always look for interesting programming by featuring interesting people doing interesting things,” Cuban told ESPNDallas.com.

Interesting?

This weekend, I watched a nine-year-old Saturday Night Live rerun featuring Sheen as host. His opening monologue and every skit he was involved in mocked his love of porn stars, prostitutes, drugs, and booze. He’s had this reputation for almost 20 years, so what’s with all the current fascination?

Already, Sheen’s “winning” philosophy has transferred from Cuban to the Mavericks — the team blew a 17-point lead last night and watched their eight-game streak come to an end.
