Believe it or not, some Fort dwellers are willing to carry on with life after the Ice Bowl – I mean, Super Bowl. Monday night (February 7) at 7pm at The Modern, Amphibian Productions will present a staged reading of Steven Dietz’s drama Inventing Van Gogh. The script concerns a contemporary painter who’s hired to forge a new Van Gogh – a self-portrait that the iconic artist allegedly painted before his death. Authorship, identity, creative license, and the process of stripping away the myth to reveal the man are all explored. Tickets are $15.
