There may be some confusion about the open call for body art at the Rose Marine Theater. The Rose Marine is indeed calling for superior examples of tattoos, piercings, scarifications, makeup, and henna work for its upcoming exhibit Cuerpo: The Art of the Body (Mar 26-May 6). But they only want to see 2D images of body art – like illustrations, photos, digital pics, works on canvas – and not the actual people with art on their bodies. Submit your body art images to mark@rosemarinetheater.com with your name and phone number and a short artist’s bio of yourself. Last day for email submission is Jan 31.
