An era ends on Sunday when the Clubhouse Concert Series hosts its final show after eight years of Texas Music goodness.
And just like The Band tapped into its talent-rich pool of friends for The Last Waltz back in the day, Joni Trevino has thrown together a killer lineup for the Clubhouse’s final performance.
Doors open at 3 p.m. Sunday at Keys Lounge and the show begins at 4. Tickets are $30.
4-4:45 pm — Joey Corpening and Bobby Duncan
5-6 pm — Susan Gibson, Jana Pochop, Ali Holder, Autumn
6:15-7 pm — Tommy Alverson, Nathan Hamilton, Mike Graham
7:30-8:15 — Blacktop Gypsy
8:30-9:45 pm — Jason Eady, Josh Grider, Drew Kennedy
10-11:15 pm — Max Stalling, Owen Temple, Walt Wilkins
11:15-whenever — Jam session with whomever
This ought to be a show to remember with tons of talent, even though a few Clubhouse regulars have expressed remorse in not being able to attend for the grand finale.
Here’s an email sent from Randy Rogers to Clubhouse promoter Joni Trevino: “Thank you for all the memories. I will be out of the state and won’t be able to make it. You did amazing things for my career and I am eternally grateful for that. Much love, RR.”
Joni thanks for all the great times!!! You and the girls organized LOTS of great shows all these years!!!
