This afternoon Jubilee Theatre announced it has chosen a new artistic director –Tre Garrett. The Houston native has a long list of regional theater credits, has worked on many productions at New York’s Kennedy Center, and was assistant director on the 2005 Broadway production of Julius Caesar with Denzel Washington. He’ll take the Jubilee post in January and direct his first show in July. Congratulations, Tre, and welcome to Fort Worth. No pressure, but we want to be wowed, so break a leg.
