A reader sent this email after reading my cover story regarding peace advocates and a nonviolent communication program:
“People get grants for any and everything and they will even test coffee rings in coffee cups but to write such garbage you must be hungry. I’m sure for people with a silver spoon up their ass this might sound good but not in the real world. Maybe dealing with the problems would be a great place to start kind of like maybe a honest city council. At council meetings I sometimes talk positive abut things in the Fort Worth Weekly but this garbage it is worst than the ads in the weekly. Get real guy!!!”
Hey, I’m always open to constructive criticism. So I emailed him back and thanked him for his comments and asked if he intended them for publication.
But he is too busy to read emails; he only has time to write them.
He responded by saying he didn’t read my reply because it “wasn’t that important.”
