Former TCU defensive end Jerry Hughes received good news and bad news:
Good news: He was drafted by NFL powerhouse Indianapolis Colts, meaning he’s starting his pro career on a team that’s in the running for a Super Bowl ring every year.
Bad news: It’s colder than a well digger’s ass in Indianapolis.
Good news: He’ll have a great teacher in DE Dwight Freeney.
Bad news: Hughes is undersized for a defensive lineman.
Good news: So is Freeney — and it hasn’t slowed him down any.
This blog site calls Hughes the “steal of the draft.”
Its cold outside the stadium. That’s why we wear coats up here, but its cozy inside. We fans will treat him respectfully. WELCOME TO INDY JERRY!
