A little birdie tells us that some of the cultural district’s heavyweights — museum directors and even the irrepressible Ruth Carter Stevenson — are ready to blow off steam at tonight’s city council meeting.
Sounds like fun!
They are apparently planning to express opinions about Mayor Mike Moncrief and gang’s decision to charge parking throughout the entire cultural district on a daily basis, including at museums, to subsidize a parking garage built to accommodate Stock Show crowds for one month of the year.
