Tom Hicks has had plenty of ups and downs as the Texas Rangers owner since 1998, but his final couple of bows have been graceful.
Bringing back Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez to the Rangers in 2009 after a seven-year absence was a gratifying fan pleaser.

Ryan is a tireless worker, honest as the day is long, and Texan through and through.
