The often dreary workaday business at City Hall just got a shot of “Yummy!”: The “Star-T” reports today that Drew’s Place, the popular 22 year old Lake Como soul food establishment run by Drew Thomas, has secured a contract to run the city cafeteria at 1000 Throckmorton St. Will code violators paying their citations be soothed with the aroma of smothered pork chops and fried catfish? In 2006 we ran a cover story about Lake Como restaurants that featured Thomas.
