Tomorrow night (Wednesday) from 5 to 7 p.m., Rahr & Sons Brewery will open its doors to the unwashed for a tour and sampling. On tap will be some of the Fort Worth brewery’s award-winning beers, including a porter and one of two specialty Rahr brews: either the Oktoberfest or Winter Warmer. For the $5 admission fee, participants will receive a souvenir glass that they can use for refills –– but only twice or thrice! 😉

On Friday at 5:30 p.m. there’ll be a TCU-area pub-crawl. At each location, pub-crawlers will imbibe alcohol-based Rahr products and be given raffle tickets for a drawing at the end of the evening. The Rahr folks can’t say precisely where they’ll be, only offer hints to potential crawlers. The hints for the first stop? “Try looking around the area of Berry and University,” the brewery said. “The ‘old’ timers hang out there, but don’t be caught resting in peace (R.I.P.) there. It’s better if you have a Rahr & Sons beer in your hand!”

And every Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. is a tasting and tour. Same admission fee/glass/refills protocol applies.
