Blue Mesa Grill (1600 S. University Dr. FW 76107 phone: 817-332-6372) does a “Tacos for a Cause” special every month, in which one dollar for every special taco goes towards several local charities. The taco in question for July is grilled pork tenderloin tacos with maple ancho sauce and warm corn relish. It costs $10.50 at dinner, $9.50 at lunch. So go satisfy your conscience as well as you belly.
Ferré Ristorante e Bar (215 E. Fourth St. FW 76102 phone: 332-0032) is doing a Friday Date Night bubbles special. All champagne by the bottle is half price. When you make your reservation, tell them you know about the date night feature, and they’ll treat you to two glasses of champagne. No third wheels please.
