A friend of mine has a teen-aged son who makes funny videos about being abducted by aliens. One day he’ll probably be making movies about aliens that gross hundreds of millions of dollars.
Until then, he and other Steven Spielberg wannabes might consider making a video for Texas’ most famous ad campaign – “Don’t Mess With Texas.” Most everybody is familiar with the ads that began in the mid-1980s and have starred homegrown heroes such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Willie Nelson, George Foreman, and Owen Wilson.
The long-running litter prevention campaign is hosting a video contest, and the winning commercial will air during prime-time television.
Deadline for entries is June 28.
Full contest details and rules are available here.
