The “Oculi” in the title of John Holt Smith’s show at William Campbell comes from his abstract paint renderings of photos of human eyes.
The “Opiates” refers to his other color exercises, and if they get you as high as recreational drugs, well, good for you. The show runs through the weekend, along with William Campbell’s new show.
