Even music lovers who’ve never even heard the term New Music might find something engaging about New Music practitioner Ellen Fullman’s upcoming performances at Will Rogers Memorial Center
Fri, Sat, and Sun: Former Austin resident Fullman plays an instrument of her own device that’s 300 feet long — that’s right, 300 feet — and that she calls simply the Long String Instrument. She will perform recent compositions of hers, plus duos and trios with cellist Theresa Wong and pedal-steel guitarist Susan Alcorn. Tickets are $15-20. Call 817-446-9884.
